When textile art meets unbridled creativity, the result is ANGELA, an adorable doll who looks like she's come straight from the West Indies! This little 32 cm doll is designed for decorative purposes. Her head is articulated in all directions, so her eyes can see everywhere! She's got a good hold because each of my rag dolls has a little metal spine. Angela's arms and hands are also articulated with metal. The legs are more simply articulated, but Angela sits very well. Her bust is embroidered with Sashiko, and her skirts are made of tulle and genuine boubou fabric.

Our dolls are all made patiently by hand, only with natural and ethical materials: Oëko-Tex jersey for the body and face, pure carded wool for the upholstery, pure mohair wool for the hair, cotton threads for the embroideries, pure cotton and pure wool for the clothes... These natural materials are all washable... However, Salut Poupée! recommends you to avoid as much as possible repeated washing of its "rag dolls" to avoid any deformation and maintain the coloring made from watercolor pencil or colored wax. The "tender" washing of our Waldorf dolls is however possible by hand: 1/Dip the doll in cold soapy water (Marseille soap) 2/ Press it several times without rubbing it 3/ Press it in cold rinsing water (change the rinsing water 2 or 3 times) 4/ Press it delicately in a terry towel 5/ Put it back in shape if necessary and let it dry in the open air. If the colors of the cheeks have faded or disappeared, you can recreate them with a watercolor pencil of the desired color: just wet the lead, pencil a piece of lint-free cloth and apply on the cheeks, the tips of the hands and feet!
