32 cm "ATHENAÏS" doll

Athénaïs is no ordinary doll! She exudes a real character, a real personality that came to life under my fingers! It was a real pleasure to create this little person... 32 cm tall, yet delicate and slender, this "rag doll" has long, slender legs. And big feet too! To make her, I chose to upcycle old sheets in métis, of exceptional quality: this gives the doll a lot of hold. Her legs are articulated (thighs and knees), her arms are mobile too, and her head can move in any direction, as she has a real little spine! Her face is created using several techniques to dress up her cheeky nose: embroidery, fabric appliqué and watercolor. Her bust and feet are embroidered with the Japanese "Sashiko" technique, and her bubbly skirt is lined with a lace-trimmed petticoat. Her hair is crocheted in mohair, then brushed, and all the little flowers are crocheted (crochet no. 0.40).
Athénaïs is not intended for small children, so use it for children aged 6 and over, or reserve it for decoration!
