Micro-crochet jewellery: cotton thread, 10 fingers and a touch of poetry!
This micro-crochet technique originated in Japan. It's only natural, since this is the land of refinement and delicacy! (Yes, I'm a Japan Addict!). For me, creating this jewellery is more than just a pleasure: it's a real passion! I crochet them using the finest threads and 0.60 and 0.75 hooks! So these little precious things require long hours of work, and even longer for the most voluminous and sophisticated pieces! I use unbleached yarns, but I also like to dye my cottons with vegetable dyes (avocado bark, chestnut wood, wild herbs, flowers, etc.) or natural pigments like indigo, turmeric, etc. It's always an adventure and I'm always surprised by the results! One last thing: my earrings, no matter how voluminous, have a unique quality: they're always super light!
